FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I began bartending in college in the early 90's as a way to make quick cash and fell in love with making people happy. My heart led me to working in hospitals as an advocate and then onto Social Services- where I learned to speak Spanish and dislike people on public benefits. From there I spent time traveling through Central and South America and spent time working at a fishing resort an off shore fishing boat on the Pacific coast of Guatemala.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
A bartender is more than someone that pours drinks. The bartenders you choose for your project are quite literally the life of the party. Hire talent and personality rather than choosing cost for an event that matters to you!
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
If serving alcohol responsibility is important to you, ask if your bartender is certified in TIPS- the global leader in service, sale, and consumption of alcohol
