Introduction: Green Clean Restoration, LLC is a small family business that takes pride in doing complete work at a high capacity. We use EPA and USDA registered products to perform our cleaning and remediation services. In addition to highly trained technicians, our team has a civil engineer, a certified home inspector and a licensed public adjuster. Steve came out immediately to assess the mold situation in our A/C's air handler, and he was back within the week to perform the remediation. His work was spotless. Our only issue was that it took him a while, due to some computer problems, to send us the before and after photos of the areas he cleaned. Regardless, those came to us eventually.

We had extensive black mold in our basement. Steve was quick to send out a person for a free estimate (well within reason) and was able to quickly remove mold. Very helpful company, they used chemicals that would not harm pets, gave us time and advice for cleaning any items in the house with potential mold spores and gave advice to prevent further mold and moist situations in the basement. Overall, a very helpful company.

Steve was hired to clean mold from a large basement. It turned out that mold was in the attic too. It was a lot of work and with my son and pregnant daughter-in-law (and 2 dogs) living in the house I was also concerned about using toxic chemicals to treat the mold. Happily we found Steve who uses only a non-toxic treatment. Steve was great to work with. He's extremely friendly and knowledgeable about mold and mold remediation. There were many places where he could have taken advantage of us financially by suggesting that more work needed to be done than was necessary. However... when we would ask about certain things he would explain why we didn't need it and advised against it. In the end the job was done and done extremely well! He started when he said he would and he was done when he said he would be done. In my experience of hiring people to do work for me, that is not always the case. I really feel he went the extra mile to help us and to make our job as complete and as clean as possible. We had a walkthrough at the end and I could not believe the difference. Follow-up testing proved that the mold was gone. BTW... there were a few spots of dust I wasn't happy with. They didn't contain mold but Steve got his equipment and took care of them. Steve also helped coordinate several other businesses that were necessary to complete the job. We had to have all the attic insulation replaced and the ducts needed to be cleaned. There was also a lot of trash to haul away that was pretty much contaminated as well. We didn't have to worry about any of this. Steve took care of it all. Having to go through mold remediation is scary and stressful. It was great having someone do the job that I felt I could trust and had my best interest in mind doing the job. I asked LOTS of questions and bothered Steve with emails and texts on continual basis. He always answered promptly and thoroughly without any hint of annoyance. A great big THANK YOU, STEVE, for doing a terrific job and helping us get through this nightmare!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
It is difficult to give a price for remediation work without seeing the job first hand. Pricing for remediation depends on a few factors: How big is the contaminated space? What kind of building materials are involved? Do we need to remove contaminated surfaces or can they be treated? What kind of contents are in the contaminated space? Is water still present? These are just a few considerations. With an onsite visit, all questions can be quickly answered and proper pricing can be determined.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a degree in civil engineering and I’m also a licensed public adjuster. In addition I have three mold certifications .
How did you get started doing this type of work?
Our business is a family business. Our goal is to provide an excellent service to those in need and to keep it priced below our competition.
