FAQs

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I am active in the Baltimore Classical Guitar Society, and regularly attend musical events and workshops.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

At a band rehearsal one day the saxophone player said "I have to leave early to go and teach" I said that sounds exciting. He told me the music store Duet With Music needed a bass teacher, so I submitted a resume and got the gig.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Be sure you have time to devote to your instrument daily. A half hour a day is good for a beginner, more advanced students can benefit from a couple or several hours.
