Introduction: Since 2003, my award-winning, woman-owned small business has been serving brides and corporations in NYC, DC, MD, VA, and the Delaware beaches. I recently relocated to the Charlotte, NC area with my family. With a focus on excellent client service, I specialize in bridal, editorial, television makeup, and makeup for corporate photo shoots and video shoots. I am also experienced in hair styling and up-dos.

I decided to do a full makeover - hair, makeup and clothes. Julie knocked it out of the park. On the fashion front, she found great outfits that really complimented my figure without breaking the bank. For my new wardrobe she added in new colors and cuts and shapes - all to get me out of my clothing rut. For my hair, she recommended an awesome style (fun, sassy and easy to replicate!) that really complemented the shape of my face and a color that went great with my complexion. Julie also set up the appointment with a nearby stylist (talk about great service!). On the makeup front, I never really wore that much. I don't prefer going barefaced. I just never felt confident on how to apply it. Enter Julie! Not only did Julie go with me to buy makeup, she knew exactly what I did and didn't need. She pointed out colors that I was too afraid to try before as well as great products that would do wonders for my dry skin. She also did a wonderful job walking me through different techniques. A very patient teacher! We ended the makeover with a fun photo shoot. She did a great job staging scenes that showcased my new fashion sense as well as flattered my full figure. Just an outstanding job all round.

Makeup Designory, Journeyman Certificate includes training in TV/VIdeo/Fashion/Editorial as well as Hair Styling. I continue to seek out training opportunities to stay on top of the industry, and to continuously perfect my craft.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
Makeup and beauty has always been my passion. I was born with a makeup brush in one hand and a hair brush in the other.
