- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Price will be quoted based on your requested time. Any additional time will be quoted accordingly. It's the hourly rate or distance rate, whichever is greater. I offer a minimalistic approach to car service. I will stay behind the wheels at all times, except for when I help you load or unload stuff in the trunk as needed.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The client gives me their trip info (whether it be hourly, long-distance, one way or round trip, etc) they pay a 25% non-refundable booking fee to reserve the trip, they pay the balance at pick-up. If they enjoyed our services and would like to tip at the end of the trip, they can do so in cash, or on any card of their choice.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been driving as an Uber Black driver and have 8 years pf experience driving passengers. I have been driving as a Lyft and Uber black driver for about 8 years. I have since built my own company, Lux Rydes which focuses on a more personal type of driving for people who want a driver for 8 hours or more or want to go farther. I have now extended that service to include moving with a black trailer. I will be driving the vehicle along with a helper/driver who will also drive as needed and more importantly, help move items, which is the other main service being offered here. As part of being an Uber/Lyft driver, I have been background checked and so is my brother was also doing the same and is in the Military. We both enjoy, both the driving and the physical challenges that come with this service and treat and drive the clients as we would treat our own family: safely and respectfully.
