Phoenix Design & Build Group designed and built a 10 X 15 foot screened in porch. The porch is a self-supporting structure that meets all county codes. Porch includes new deck roof, hand rail and baluster system around new deck edge. Porch is completely screened in except for the door, which I requested to be glass. Roof is shingled; interior ceiling is solid and perforated soffit; ceiling is insulated for heat control. Flooring is solid treated plywood covered with high-quality indoor/outdoor carpet, finished with shoe molding. Gutters and down sprout were installed. Pet resistant screening was installed in lower half, pool and patio screen in upper half. From demolition to clean-up, everything went very smoothly. Throughout the construction process, Mr. Aldrich was quick to return my phone calls. He kept me informed of all details. He has an eye for details and did what it took to assure everything was done correctly. The porch looks very nice and I have been able to enjoy spending time outside during various hours of the day without the annoyance of flying/biting insects. From proposal to plans to actual construction, everything was done with complete professionalism. I would highly recommend Phoenix Design and Build for your home projects.

Based on the great experiences we had in the past, we decided to hire Phoenix Design-Build to renovate our kitchen. This was a complete renovation, demolition to the bare walls and subfloor. New travertine floors, cabinets, appliances, lighting fixtures and granite countertops combined in the complete project. Greg Aldrich and his team patiently helped us navigate through multiple suppliers to arrive at just the right combination of fittings and fixtures. Once the planning was over, Greg staged the work so it caused a minimum of disruption to the family and gave us a completed project that exceeded our expectations. Greg took a personal interest in delivering a quality product. His attention to detail is outstanding, even to aligning the doors on the cabinets so they operated smoothly and without interfering with each other. When we had some minor challenges with our cabinet order, Greg did what was necessary to assure we had use of our kitchen, and then returned to complete the work when we took final delivery of the components. Our experience was more positive than I had reason to expect for a project of this magnitude. My only regret in filing this review is that Phoenix Design-Build will be too busy when I need them to do my next project!!!

Greg did several projects in our house--he remodeled a powder room, installed two sliding doors, completed some window repair, fixed our patio and did some smaller projects around our house that needed to be done. He did a great job-was neat, professional, organized, responsive, and the quality of the work was excellent.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We use a standard hourly mechanic and helper labor rate. We DO NOT upcharge on materials.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
In most cases, an estimate is up front and free. We will provide any available reference needed to assure the potential client we are the company of choice. We usually rely on a good first impression to lay the ground work.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
EPA lead abatement certification and current Home Improvement Law. Some formal education in communications skills.
