Introduction: We are a 10 piece, multi-genre group based out of Baltimore. Our music is a groove oriented mix of funk, jazz and soul, some reggae, disco, alt country and electronic type stuff (breakbeats/house) as well. We incorporate horns, modern beats, synthesizers and turntableism, which we think gives our music a broad appeal. “Funktronic Breakbeat Soul-Jazz” as we like to call it. We know how to keep folks on the dancefloor and we take great pride in catering to a diverse audience through the use of original music or our own version a classic. Ultimately, the best part about this job is coming into contact with the people that share our same love for music. I try and write tunes that make people want to dance for the most part and I love it when they do. Music can be very subjective, so when people convey any love for your art, it validates all your hard work. As an original artist, that's what drives me. As an added bonus, we get to share the bill with national touring acts like Galactic, Black Joe Lewis & The Honeybears, Mighty Mighty Bosstones, The Pietasters, Marky Ramone, Hackensaw Boys, Ballyhoo!, L.A.
