- How did you get started doing this type of work?
How did you get into PetSitting? I got into pet sitting because I had 2 unfortunate experiences in a row when I hired neighbors to take care of my dogs. I came home to messes that took hours to clean up and my pups were so unhappy. I decided to find a professional pet sitter for my next trip. When I interviewed pet sitting companies..I said "I want to do this too!" At the time, I was a stay-at-home mother going to college at night for Pharmacy Tecnology. I began working for 2 companies at once to keep my schedule full and switched my school focus to Animal Science. After gaining experience with those companies, I decided to begin my own business when I moved to Rising Sun.
