FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
If a client can tell me exactly what they are looking for, then I can give a quote for the whole package. Conversely, if they tell me their exact budget I can give them a package to fit that budget. ÃÂ la carte prices include a shooting fee, And products are priced as desired. I use only professional lab quality products (not Sam's Club!) And prices will vary according to desired product.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Constantly. I am a member of the Maryland PPA, national PPA, am a Certified Professional Photographer and constantly both attend AND teach seminars and workshops. In 2014, I have just earned my Master Photographer degree from PPA. (There are only about 3,000 photographers in the US who have attained this!)
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I am trained in the technical side of imaging systems, and have always loved photography. I began developing my fine art portfolio in 2005 and gravitated to environmental "on-location" figure images, mainly because, well, these were my strongest images. It was not until later that I began to also photograph brides, as I found the emotion, poise and composition directly applied to the wedding day.
