- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I believe in world equity and that every person has a right to live where they want to live. I was told a story about how a classmate's grandfather, an American citizen, was arrested and detained for a week because INS assumed he was an illegal alien because of his ethnicity. They never bothered to verify his identity. That upset me enough to leave government and become an immigration attorney.
