A few months ago, I started to work from home due to COVID-19. I move my office stuff to our house and try to find a place to get the job done. After working for a while, I felt that I am not functional and the space is not conducive for conducting my job. I decided to ask Edit in Style (Maryam) to turn one of our house room into a home office. After examining the space, she rearranged, and completely redesign one of our room, and made it into a very functional and beautiful office! She chose a beautiful color for the entire room and based on my taste, order a few office pieces of furniture. She even went further and completely organized my office. My newly designed and organize office completely changed my attitude. Maryam did a fantastic job and now my new neat and arranged office space cleared the way for greater productivity and less wasted time.

Maryam redesigned my living area. She spent few hours talking to me and understanding my taste. She showed many different styles and discussed them with me with no pressure. We also took a tour to few local furniture stores and she gave me great ideas in those trips. In the end she gave me few designs that I love them. Whats more, I know much better about my taste after consulting with her. I will definitely seek her service more in future. Maryam also did a fantastic job organizing my kitchen cabinets and also pantry. I liked how she considered my needs and started the project after knowing what I am really after. She cares a lot about her work, no matter how big or small it is. I love how my kitchen turned out after her work.

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

    I’m very open about my pricing. I charge $85 for an hour. I do have discount packages. I have an hour of free consultations. Occasionally I do have specials! They can view all that on my website.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    I normally do a phone consultation with a client to hear about their project the area that causing them stress. If they have any pictures I will ask them to send them to me. Then I will set an appointment with them for an in-home consultation. At the consultation session, I will become acquainted with the client and assess the area causing stress. Answer the questions that they have for me. If they were happy with their session they can sign the contract and we set an action time.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

    My training has been with inspired organizers and online classes for interior decoration.
