deep tissue medical massage on my back, reflexology on my feet and hands. I knew halfway through the first treatment that I would be returning to Maxine for more. She is very professional and does a wonderful job. Thank You Maxine. See you in 2 weeks!
Tonight I had the best massage of my life. I e-mailed Shar to see if he could accommodate me after a long drive to the area. He got back to me immediately and we set up a two hour appointment at his studio. I arrived a little early and he was very welcoming. He took my medical history and asked for problem areas. Shar started with some stretching.... which was incredible and truly gave way to an incredible massage. He worked very hard with a combination of different techniques, from light strokes to a deep tissue and reflexology. Truly an Outstanding Masseur!
Michelle gave me exceptional service at a affordable price. The massage I received incorporated Reiki and Reflexology which added a dynamic I've not experienced before. I'm a gym rat and can appreciate the integrative approach. I now see Michelle once a week as part of my health and wellness routine.
I have had four massages from Tara since October 2014. She is the best masseuse I have ever had! I like her attention to areas of concern that she identifies during the massage. She also performs therapeutic reflexology which is her guide to identifying areas to focus on.
Tawanda was very professional. She was able to schedule an appointment quickly and made sure I had all the information I needed before coming to the studio. After filling out a short questionare; I was lead to a private room for my massage. It was a very relaxing experience. Tawanda concentrated on the areas I described as tight and uncomfortable. I left with better dexterity and flexibility than I have had in several months. I plan to follow her recommended exercise, hydration, and try to schedule some return sessions.
Jane is excellent! She is my go to massage person and I have tried a lot of different massage practitioners. She is reasonable and the best!
Vicky Troy is a well studied and practiced massage therapist. I had massage work done to relieve lower back pain, and to release the knots in my shoulder caused from RSI from playing guitar long hours, day in and day out. Vicky worked on me weekly for 3 months. Each time I noticed small changes in my posture. I began to sit up and stand up straighter. In addition to the work on my muscles, Vicky suggested ways to incorporate gentle stretches and changes to my daily routine. I highly recommend Energy and Serenity Bodyworks for massage work.
Linda was such an asset to my patient. She made every effort to accommodate with time, and she made house calls for disabled people. Her kind & compassionate spirit made a difficult situation that much more mean able. My patient smiled from her services. Hadn't seen that smile for weeks. Would use again.
Lori introduced both my 97 year old mother and me to the ever so relaxing and beneficial world of foot massage. Having never enjoyed the luxury of pedicure and massage I was reluctant and almost backed out. I'm so glad I didn't as Lori's pleasant personality put me at ease. The hour I spend with her leaves me relaxed, with my feet feeling better and minor pains throughout my body seeming to disappear. Lori is possibly the most time responsive business person in my life. Emails and phone calls are answered promptly and she is always on time for appointments. My hope is that sometime in the near future Lori will be able to find a location for her salon that does not have stairs as I would like to recommend her services to some of my friends who have difficulty with stairs. When Mom is asked how she feels about Lori's pedicure and massage, she always says, "Oooh...she makes my toes feel sooo good!"
After having one bad experience with an unprofessional business in Laurel, I was reluctant and uncertain about what massage therapist I should trust. For years I have suffered with upper-body and neck pain, presumably from my work role and the head on accident I had when I was younger. After visiting John Boston at his secondary office co-located at Whole Chiropractic Healthcare in Odenton, I feel worlds better. Both physically, and mentally. The pain is gone already from a one hour session, that's not to say I wont be a bit sore tomorrow, he went pretty deep. He was able to quickly zero in on the tense spots without me having to say, and break down the tension, he also was good about easing up if I told him and/or read me when he was going a little too deep. I normally prefer massage therapists with strong hands that are not afraid to apply some pressure and make sure that the therapy is within my comfort zone. Having been to several massage therapists throughout the country as part of my military career, I have to say he ranks clearly among the best! The med clinic on base just wanted to give me pills that made me sleepy. The money spent out of pocket, for a drug free alternative, was well worth it. It is clear that he is a skilled professional, and I will definitely be visiting him in the future. Although... it might be awhile now, ;n). I would definitely recommend John Boston to a friend.
Great therapist for medical and pain management. He is knowledgable and experienced. Highly recommend!
This was my first time receiving a professional massage. She help me to feel comfortable also gave me a orientation on what I needed and what she would be doing during our session. I have terrible back pains she helped to relieve them and have me excerises to do so that they wouldn't return. She stretched my muscles. I even feel taller lol but I will definitely return was very friendly and in tuned with my needs
Stacie is without a doubt one of the best! Her approach and professionalism immediately put you at ease. I've recieved various sessions from Stacie including crystal energy work, reiki, and massage/ reflexology. I found myself wanting longer sessions each time. I can really feel a positive change mind, body, and spirt. Definitely a pivotal step in the right direction for me health wise.

I show you the wonderful world of reflexology. My goal is to make you feel like the best you! I practice reflexology and have a great interest in aromatherapy. I love what aromatherapy and reflexology offer to my clients! Along with my reflexology session, I incorporate the use of some essential oils to further relax the client. I'm currently making house calls. I enjoy helping everyone, including men, women, children and the elderly. Reflexology is great for children with ADHD or those who have trouble sleeping. I offer classes for parents, so that they can help their children with some reflexology techniques when they cannot get to a specialist. I also make trips to nursing homes and hospice centers to help clients find relief and some sleep.

How does reflexology work? Reflexology is a natural healing art based on the principle that the feet and hands have reflexes which correspond to every part of the body. In general, there is common sense that the benefits of reflexology are related to the reduction of stress. At various times in the history of the human being, reflexology has been rediscovered and reinstated as a health practice in many different cultures around the world. Archeological evidence relates ancient reflexology systems to various historical time-spans, including China (2704 BCE), Egypt (2330 BCE), and Japan (690 CE). There are many theories which explain how reflexology works. Some theories are related to the nervous system and the reflexive responses; other theories relate reflexology to the meridians. Far most reflexology approaches describe the physical act of applying pressure to the feet and hands - through the use of specific thumb, finger and hand techniques. What can you expect from a reflexology treatment? A reflexology treatment usually takes 45 to 60 minutes. The actual treatment is preceded by a consultation about your health and lifestyle. Then, you are usually asked to remove your shoes and socks and sit comfortably in a reclining chair or on a massage table. So, apart from your shoes and sock, you remain fully clothed. The reflexologist will then assess the feet. The next step concerns the stimulation of various points on the feet to identify areas of tenderness and/or tension. The reflexology therapist then uses brisk movements to warm up the feet. Then the physical act of applying pressure starts from the toes to the heel according to your comfort. Often, lotion or oil is used for the benefit of your comfort. Most often people feel calm and relaxed after a reflexology treatment. Sometimes people feel anxious or tearful, but this is usually only temporary - and often considered as part of the healing process. Let me touch your sole.
