I'm a 61-year-old male who loves animals. Since I can't find work because of my age, I thought I would start a dog walking, pet sitting/housesitting service.
I have already applied at Care.com for this line of work, and Thumbtack is a new source for me.
I don't have any certificates for my business, just common sense. I don'y smoke, drink or use illegal drugs of any kind. I don't have any criminal record of any kind.
I maybe naive, but I didn't think I needed any special training for my business. I can walk your pet, feed, clean up any messes, play with your pet, give medication, give treats and just spoil your furry friend like you do.
Right now, I'm only doing this in the Seaford/Blades area because I don't own a vehicle. I just have a current driver's license.
Currently, I'm feeding the wildcats behind Tri-State Roofing on Cedars Avenue. My goal is to domesticate these cats for spaying or neutering for adoption.
