Introduction: I am a licensed Maryland notary, and also happen to be a licensed Maryland attorney in good standing, although absolutely retired from my private practice of law. I have a long history of dealing professionally and courteously with clients of all ages and backgrounds and understand that what is needed in an on-call notary /witness, is: first of all reliability, showing up on time; and secondly, blending seamlessly with a law office signing, client greeting routine. I want the client to view you as a full service small firm, and me as your assistant. I have available only weekend and occasional evening time slots for this work.
Meeting and greeting clients, making elderly or ill folks smile, and working with solo and small firm attorneys. Chatting with elderly clients as appropriate, and if requested, to assist attorney to note and establish mental competency of clients.
