Introduction: Hi. I’m Jorge Gill, proprietor of J. Gill Construction. As you read further, you’ll find figures and facts, together with what we do, and how we do it. First, I would want to tell you why we do it. Why this industry, with all its “make a quick buck” flaws and the downright hard work needed to establish a solid reputation of being the hardest working, respectful and knowledgeable professional team out there? Well, telling you the “why” is pretty easy to share: passion! I absolutely love what I do. My passion to make things look better with my hands and my imagination took hold at a young age. As a young man, I sniffed out any opportunity where I could learn the trade and the art of remodeling. In 1990, I started working as a project master man for two construction companies. By the time 2003 rolled around, I was armed with a healthy knowledge of the trade, and eager to find new and innovative ways to expand my reach and gain greater opportunity to manage the “what we do and how we do it” throughout the entire process of a project, from A to Z. So I took the plunge, put my name out there, and started my own business. J Gill Construction: From small bathroom renovations to large basement overhauls, to building brand new additions, with an idea to build a highly reputable company in the Washington, DC Metropolitan area, our ongoing mission is to focus on: * Skilled expertise * Ongoing training to provide the latest in innovative technology and construction * Ease of doing business, and * Customer satisfaction Licensed and credentialed: J Gill Construction, Inc. is fully licensed and insured. Mr. Gill holds the license A for contractors in Virginia and Maryland, as well as the plumbing, electrical and building licenses in these two states, as well as a license for home improvement in Washington, D.C.
