Voice lessons with Rachel Leanza have been a great pleasure. She is awesome at working out a schedule for lessons and making sure you're comfortable during them. You get what you give in effort, but she is always there to help and answer any questions. When you do start to experience progress in your voice, Rachel is just as enthusiastic as you are, which makes the lessons quite fun. If you're looking to learn about singing and enjoy yourself while doing it, then these lessons are definitely worth it.Jun 14, 2016Verified
Rachel is an amazing instructor! Before meeting with her, I had had some previous singing lessons and she really helped me improve my tone and technique. The lessons are very relaxed and I feel very comfortable asking her for any type of advice, whether on audition song choices or just singing in general. I have received many compliments from friends and family; noting how much I've improved after working with Rachel. I highly recommend her!Aug 7, 2014Verified
I've been taking lessons with Rachel for six years. She shepherded me through a prolonged period when I lacked confidence in my singing. She's improved my vocal skills, and she cheered me on in my community singing after I joined a Sweet Adelines chorus. She tries different approaches to effect change when I'm doing something that isn't working as well as I'd like. I can feel the changes in my singing each time I reach a new stage. Rachel is an excellent voice teacher. With the pandemic, we now have online lessons and it feels like I'm with her in her home studio.Aug 29, 2020Review from GoogleVoice Lessons with Rachel Leanza's reply
Thank you so much, Patricia. I absolutely love working with you!
I met with Rachel a few times in order to prepare for an opportunity to sing backup for a performer at a friend's birthday party. She was terrific and really helped me, as an untrained singer, to get ready for the event. I recommend her very highly!Oct 14, 2014Verified
I love working with Rachel. She is full of helpful tips on tone quality and breath control among other things. But my favorite part of singing with her is that she gets just as excited about it as I do. The time flies by we are having so much fun!Dec 4, 2014Verified
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I charge $55 for a 45 minute lesson. I find that's much easier on the voice than a full hour. I recommend weekly lessons.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? At the first lesson, I review the 3 areas of singing. This is a great way to be sure we have a solid foundation with which to move forward!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have a Bachelor of Music degree in Vocal Performance, Master of Music degree in Vocal Performance and a Master of Music degree in Music Education. And, I am always coaching and performing to keep my own technique polished.
