Introduction: Hello! I'm David with Metro Teleproductions, INC. We have been streaming/webcasting since 1998. We specialize in streaming to Facebook and YouTube Please note, due to budget, we ask you not to contact us on jobs that are under $500 and under $1000. For Streaming the minimum job is $1500. Every project is different. We ask a lot of questions and work hand in hand with the client to make sure that the end result meets their expectations. We work with a highly specialized core of video production professionals who span the spectrum from producing videos to covering hotel conferences and seminars. MTI is known for its intense preparation before any of the clients money is spent. We always attempt to survey for every job. We enjoy the interaction with the clients. For example we just completed a shoot for ACEP in preparation for their 50th anniversary. I interviewed 26 emergency room physicians in the course of a 8 hour day. Their stories were fascinating, since they were from every region of the country and ranged in age from late 20's to 70. We just completed a 1 day shoot for handshake where we had to edit the video overnight in preparation for a live 2 camera switch from UnderArmour headquarters in Baltimore. The challenging jobs always get your adrenaline going!

Dave and his team are absolute pros with tons of experience, who know the ins and outs of working in the DC market. I've worked with them for 2 shoots: 1 live-streaming event on Capitol Hill and 1 interview in a federal agency building. In both instances the crew arrived on time, prepared to shoot, and with a highly professional attitude. Moreover, Dave is incredibly helpful ahead of time, walking you through what will make each job a success. Simply put, they do fantastic work at a price point that's reasonable and that I can justify to budget conscious clients. They are my go-to for all video work.

Great experience with Metro doing some cool live streaming from a moving vehicle in D.C. during a convention. The stream was live on the trade show floor and was a huge hit. See Jamie's rig in the back of a Tesla.

We recently ran a large (650 people) international science conference in Washington, DC. We selected MTI as our A/V service provider based on a combination of competitive price and good reports from previous clients. From the initial stages, Dave and his team worked hard with us to understand our objectives (and limitations). They became key team members and were always thinking one or two days ahead, offering suggestions and alternatives to get us the biggest and highest quality "bang" for our limited "bucks". We have done events like this in many other places in the world, with a wide variety of approaches to A/V service delivery. If we are doing future events in this we will go straight to MTI for both advice and service.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Please do not contact me if you are trying to develop a vision Also due to the structure of our company, we are unable to do jobs in the under 500**** and 600-1000 range****, it normally is not profitable for us. Not really because each job is different. we have half and full days for video production. If you have just a cameraman vs a cameraman and audio for a shoot obviously it costs more. a half day is 4 hours on site, a full day 8.5 hours on site. We allow for a half hour of travel each way, that is standard industry practice. In webcasting it totally depends on the amount of equipment you are doing.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We ask alot of questions. In video production and webcasting, each job is different. Before quoting a price, especially on thumbtack there is normally a need for additional information. We understand that in many cases price is a deciding factor. Its important to only quote what a client needs, not charge them for additional items.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a graduate of the University of Maryland in Radio TV. I have 26 years of video production experience. We are one of the pioneers of webcasting. Our first webcast was for the Washington Post back in 1998.
