Working with Nick has been great. He made a point of easing me back into things during our first workout while observing closely. He strikes the perfect balance between pushing me outside of my comfort zone, motivating, but also adjusting on the fly when he sees I’m struggling. I enjoy the mix of our workouts where we start with some lifting and cardio then transition into BJJ training. It’s a great balance for me to keep things interesting, but I also get the sense that Nick takes the time to talk to each client and tailor things based on their own personal goals. Everything Nick does from arriving early to checking in via text during the week shows the utmost professionalism and he seems to genuinely care and take pride in helping me. I recommend Nick highly!Mar 4, 2019VerifiedPower Up Personal Training and Martial Arts's reply
Thanks Brent, I do care! That's what makes personal training truly personal.
I have been working with Nick for the past 3 months. When we first started, he took the time to address any health issues and work on tailoring a exercise routine to alleviate them. Since then I have found Nick to be upbeat, encouraging, patient, punctual, and attentive during our training sessions. He also takes the time to check in with you during the week and make custom weekly routines to keep you on track. In addition, he works with you on exercise intensity and is very flexible with scheduling. I would highly recommend training with him.Nov 15, 2018Verified

I have worked with a couple of trainers before but none have been as professional, knowledgeable and motivating as Nick. His motto is to meet you where are; whether you are a first timer to fitness or you’re training for an Iron Man competition- Nick has a workout designed for your goals. He always punctual, responsive and flexible. He has motivated me so much that on the days that I don’t workout with him I want to show him my gains when we meet again. His program is one of the best.Oct 5, 2018

- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? Our first sessions starts with a quick interview to establish athletic history, any previous injuries, and your current goals. Following this we will go through a series of movement assessments, and finally our first workout together! This first session is an intro to my training style so that we can see if its a good fit, and it gives me an opportunity to gather necessary information to build you the best routine possible. At the end of the session I will give you my recommendation on training pack based on everything we learned during the consultation.
