When I first decided I needed a personal trainer, I started checking out the personal trainers at the gym where I was a member. I watched how they interacted with their clients, and the training they gave them. Most of the trainers seemed disinterested in their work, and were either chi-chatting with other members of the gym while training their clients, or checking their cellphones while training. When I checked out Janet, she was always one on one and very focused with her client. Thats when I decided Janet was the one for me. Janet is extremely knowlegeable, not only about personal training, but also about proper nutrition and healthy lifestyle. She has been my personal trainer for over 3 years now. I am going on 57 years old, and thanks to her, I feel and look much younger, and I am very thankful our paths crossed.

Timothy is Arguably the best personal trainer in Columbia, MD area. I explained my fitness goals, and within the first few sessions, I could see results. Timothy explained clean eating, calorie intake along with proper fitness training. I lost more than 20 lbs, reducing my body fat and increase my muscle tone. I have met my fitness goals and very pleased with my results.
I was referred to CJ by a friend who had an amazing body transformation after training with her. I tagged along to a session to see for myself what CJ's training style was like (I had a few different personal trainers in the past so at this point I was more aware of what I needed) after the first session I was impressed and decided to sign up for my own sessions. CJ performed a complete fitness evaluation including taking my measurements & body fat percentage (previously a trainer I paid twice as much to at a gym downtown DC near my job did not take this kind of time & effort), she also wrote out a customized meal plan to suit my preferences. We trained 2-3 times per week around my work schedule, once per month she would measure me, after the first 2 or 3 months w/ CJ I had lost 8% of my body fat and was able to do exercises I had never imagined. She was encouraging & extremly knowledgeable, which was refreshing from what you encounter in most commercial gyms w/ college frat boy types who got their personal training cert online one weekend. She also gave me her full attention when training me, compared to what I had experienced in the past w/ unprofessional trainers being on their phones etc during my paid session. When I injured my back after falling down stairs in heels, she took the time to teach me back strengthening exercises & stretches until I was recovered enough to begin training again, having been in the fitness industry so long she has had injuries herself so she knew what I was going through. I trained w/ CJ about 6 months total before I moved out of state for work. I've been able to continue my workouts & healthy lifestyle on my own from what I've learned from CJ. I look at my sessions w/ her not just as paying for that one time sweat session but as an investment in my fitness knowledge and habits, and because she was constantly changing it up and showing me new exercises I feel comfortable & confident in the gym now, and have plenty of exercises in my repertoire to use as I please. I plan to go back to CJ when I return to Maryland. Although I learned a lot during my months w/ her I saw better results w/ her because I had someone pushing me to go harder than I push myself on my own and knowing she will be measuring me gives me the accountability I need to stay on top of my clean eating.

Mia has been my personal trainer for the past two years. She worked hard to get me in shape, kept me in shape during my pregnancy and is helping me improve my fitness post-pregnancy (when time is short and fatigue is high). Mia always keeps the workout interesting and frequently helps me out on the nutrition side. Can't say enough positive things about her and I am happy to have her as my trainer.

I have known Alex for many years and when I found out he was a personal trainer, I decided to use him. I was preparing for a 100 mile backpacking trip through the Rocky Mountains and knew I needed to lose weight and get in shape. Alex helped me lose about 45 pounds over the course of 10 months and get into the best shape I have been in years and years. Not only did he help me with exercise, but he was very helpful in creating a diet and lifestyle that allowed me to maintain that weight. I started working out again in February 2011. I met Erin as she showed me around the gym about how to use the gym equipment. I felt an instant connection with her, so I decided to start going to her once a week for extra help. WOW was I amazed on how out of shape I was. She has encouraged and pushed me to do my best and at times has laughed with me. I have awesome arms and legs now! Erin is an awesome personal trainer!!!
