I have been taking self-defenses classes with Jared for over four years and he is by far the best instructor I have had. I took classes in Chicago, New York, and D.C., in the past, but Jared was the only instructor who was able to give me customized training based on my individual needs. Since he is experienced in a wide range of martial arts, I was able to learn a wide variety of skills and walk away after each class feeling confident in my ability to defend myself. My schedule is always busy, but Jared managed to work with me and incorporate so much into just one training session. I strongly encourage anyone interested in learning unique defense skills to train with Jared!

As a women, I highly recommend Jared to teach you real world, practical self-defense.Jared has trained in multiple martial arts,and is experienced,respectful, and knows from his many years of training how to teach you to defend yourself.When teaching self-defense,one must be able to adapt and teach to that person's ability. Jared has that unique ability, where he can quickly adapt and focus on the student's strength's. This is extremely important, when working with women, and girls.Having trained with Jared, he knows many techniques that work.

I have trained with Jared for roughly a decade and my experiences with him have been nothing but positive. Jared is able to take complex techniques and concepts and break them down in a way that makes them far easier to understand. I have trained at many places over the years and have spent a lot of time and money learning different techniques from different styles at each school. When i started to train with Jared, I was very pleased to train with someone who could teach me practical no nonsense techniques, that were derived from various styles, by an instructor who is both very skillful as a martial artist and as an instructor.
