My dying dogwood tree needed to be removed. since I like the the tree I wanted a replacement. Gardenscaping in Baltimore contacted me, came to my home to see if the tree could be saved. Since it could not be saved, we talked about the options for a replacement. They arrived on the designated time, removed the old tree, planted the new tree and made sure that the area was left in great condition. Very pleased.May 15, 2018Verified

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I do not charge for the first visit of consultation. I charge $20 an hour for myself and my worker $15 an hour I purchase mulch by the yard and plants and shrubs and small trees priced at current prices. I try to take 20% of retail prices for Perennials and annuals.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? When meeting the customer for the first time I like to discuss what their thoughts are about their project. I like to know their colors, what flowers mean to them (cut flowers, attracting butterflies and bees, etc), if they like to work in their garden (watering, weeding) or just enjoy looking at it. Listen to their plans and work with them.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I am a Master Gardener. I read about gardens and the problems that can arise so I can take care of it. I enjoy looking at garden designs so I can advise my clients.
