- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We have various webinars at our place of work. I also watch webinars on the internet as read often about counseling information.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I am a communications professor and due to the nature of the course content, I witnessed the great pain of people of all ages especially young adults. i wanted to do more and felt called to get official training in counseling. For me it is a natural fit.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Listen...Listen...Listen. Some people need a safe place to vent and a have a non-judgmental listener. Some people figure out their own clog and others express their need for my input. We set goals and steps to move toward those goals so they leave in a different place or they don't end up in the same place again.
