Christine did a series of lifestyle and SKU shots for our bath/body products brand. As a (very) small business owner I have little experience with promotional and marketing strategies, and limited awareness of current photography trends for an online presence. But I did have a vision and Christine patiently made that vision a reality. She was professional and personable and had a way of making me feel that my project was as important as those from much bigger clients. She shared her expertise with me while at the same time allowing me to ultimately be the lead on the project and have the final say on all shots. I tend to be a bit detail oriented, and she tolerated all my requests for even the smallest changes no matter how many I made. All communication with her was prompt and thorough, including quick response time to all emails and multiple phone conversations throughout the process to make sure we were always on the same page despite being 500 miles apart. I would highly recommend Armstrong Studios!

Christine did some lifestyle and studio product photography for our brand of fair trade bags, Manos Zapotecas. She was efficient, responsive, creative, generous and communicative. In short - a joy to work with and she produced work that we were extremely happy with. FAQs

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I usually price jobs on a per shot basis if the project is large in scope or stretched out over time. I will also do day rate and half day rate pricing if the project requires me to travel. Each job is unique. I am opposed to giving "off the shelf" prices because I think clients are opposed to getting off the shelf results from me.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Practice, practice, practice. I don't believe in upgrading for the sake of upgrading, but I do subscribe to Adobe and keep the most current versions of software running to do my work.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
Photography sort of chose me. I am one for the few pros you may find these days who studied photography and is actually earning a living over 30 years later. But today I'd probably skip the formal schooling and go sweep floors for someone I respected in order to learn what it takes to be a photographer.
