What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Primarily I read up on the next windows and/or OSX that gets released. I also read up on recent big virus infections across certain organizations or companies so I can do research exactly what it does in the event that I receive a client with the same computer issues.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
When I started fixing my own computer and seeing the same problems in others I knew this could be a small business to get into. My grandparents told me all the time I had a good thing with computers but I never thought about really pursuing it. I got my Degree in Audio Engineering, but I find myself being pulled back to software repair all the time
What types of customers have you worked with?
Spyware and Malware removal. sometimes clients download games something and with that program it installs another smaller program with ads on it. Usually those are the programs that start making your computer run slower than it should.
