What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Check with your insurance provider prior to your initial session regarding whether you need a physician referral, whether you have a deductible and how much it is, what your co-pay amount is, if any, and whether there are any limits to number of sessions allowed. Have a good idea of what you are looking for in a counselor, and check the counselor's credentials to make sure they are qualified and experienced to help you with the particular issues you are seeking help with.
