Letters of reference: Andrew Brewer has been a part of many projects we have done at our home in Cape Elizabeth. He worked here under Michael Clifford, owner of Coastal Construction. Aside from small jobs such as re-shingling the exterior and installing thresholds and doors, Andy was a big part of the reconstruction of a deck and screened-in porch. He was often left here to continue the work without Mike as supervisor. It was then that we saw his constant attention to detail, ability to foresee what was needed, and finish the job with no complications. Nothing was ever left unfinished, and the results from his efforts were great! We highly recommend Andy for his knowledge of building construction and its materials. He has a great respect for the owners property, is very trustworthy and pleasant to have around. Scott & Trish Morin, July 2009 Cape Elizabeth, Maine This is in reference to Andrew Brewer, contractor. I was referred to Andy by a good friend of mine who was having his chimney repaired as a reliable contractor. I was having a terrible time getting any call backs from other roofers so it was a relief to have someone call me back almost immediately. We had had some leakage around two chimneys in the third floor of our Portland building that our tenants had been complaining about. After rescheduling due to a hurricane, Andy and his step-father repaired the roof around the chimneys and addressed some shingles that were splitting along the peak. Apparently the roof had been patched previously but it hadn't been done correctly – hence the leaks. Andy also came by at a later date to repair a piece of the upper vinyl that had been taken down by a tree branch the winter before. Before giving me the bill, Andy came by and showed me (as best you can from the ground) the repaired areas. It was nice to have a contractor take the time to follow up and ensure that I understood what was done. Andy has been a pleasure to work with. He's great about answering the phone, returning calls, and keeping us up to date on the progress of our repairs. His honesty and reasonable rates make him a contractor that I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone. Amy Black 89 Sheridan St. Portland, ME 04101 More local references and phone numbers upon request! How many years or how much experience do you have? Over 13 years of experience. I will guarantee that I will be punctual and completely drug and alcohol free.
