Sam renovated our stairs and did a fantastic job! We were so impressed with the quality of work, responsiveness, and that he was able to complete this job is one day. Already thinking through other carpentry projects we can have Sam do in the future - highly recommend!

First off, Sam has been the most professional person who I've hired off Thumbtack. He'd be hard to beat. Sam came in to do an estimate on finishing off an attic, as well as quote me on a dog door. As money allowed for me, he did the pet door first. He was fantastic with telling me what products he would use, cost of the work, and having it look clean afterward. The dog door is fantastic, and I fully intend to hire him again to finish off our attic. I've already recommended him to other neighbors to do similar work.

We hired Hubbard Carpentry to do our bathroom remodel and were well pleased from day one. Sam came out himself to do our estimate. We appreciated the owner being the one we met with. Sam is professional and personable. He was a true pleasure to work with. He stayed in communication with us every step of the way. He put a lot of personal time in to make sure we got what we wanted, even driving to several Home Depot stores to get our toilets when the original order was delayed. When one of the crew was injured at home, he made every effort to ensure that our project did not get delayed, including coming out on a Saturday to finish the final trim work. We highly recommend Hubbard Carpentry and will call Sam first when we are ready for the next big project.

We hired Sam to help renovate a kitchen. His carpentry was excellent quality. He is very meticulous and showed a high level of craftmansship. We had a party with friends to show off our new kitchen. A very meticulous engineer friend of my was highly impressed with the attention to detail. Everything fit together perfectly and was 5 star quality.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Be sure to compare apples to apples. Some homeowners compare quotes from different service providers only focusing on the bottom line. A number of factors go into making that bottom line what it is. Things like good quality materials vs inferior ones, the level of craftsmanship, and the kind of attention you as a customer will receive go into creating that price.
