Outstanding contractor. Punctual, intelligent, efficient, with an eye for detail while trying to make things better. And, he's funny. Tempted not to leave a review because we need him to be available for more projects. Hire him, he's good.
Will added two indoor switches for our outdoor outlets. He completed the work quickly and even patched the wall. We will definitely call him for more electrical contracting needs.
Im a contractor and work with sub contractors all the time. I needed an electrical inspection on a property and Theo did exactly what I needed. We scheduled a visit and he took care of all the electrical work quickly and effectively. He will definitely be my first call on the next project. Thanks!
They put up house wrap and new cedar shakes over half the house to replace warped and cracked siding. They did a great job at a much lower price than we were bid by other contractors.
As a landlord of four properties, I've worked with many contractors and handymen and Chris has proven to be the most reliable, responsive, and best bang for your buck out of the bunch. I can't articulate how nice it is to have a "yes" man that can efficiently, and most importantly effectively, address all of my building's needs in a timely manner. Plus, he is a pleasure to work with - almost like an old friend who has come over to help you out with your new place. His expertise is such that you can make things as much as you want, simply tell him what you would like and he will give you a ridiculously fair estimate that compels you to utilize him for the rest of your projects (and ones you've been putting off) because it's such a great value. I almost didn't want to write this review because I want to keep him for myself.
Tom Sorensen started under my contractor, hired to transform/renovate my new condo. Tom began on the job as a painter primarily and bit by bit I observed even greater and more varied talents. While painting I was observed that Tom was great at his job, pleasant to have around, and he always left after all was cleaned up each day. My idea for the master bedroom was to paint stripes alternate colors to look like wall paper but in my exact size and color choices. The job turned out superbly so we did this same process except, using different measurements in the hall guest bath. All looks great. After the renovation was completed, I have employed Tom has a handy man. He saved a fine but old and weak cocktail table by taking it apart, regluing and then cleaning it up like new. Then when a 4 foot wall was taken down and we all found an ugly pole in the middle of a now open room, Tom suggested a french technique, trompe'loile (forgive spelling, please) which makes my newly painted column look like it is fluted (it is not ) and in the two colors of the room, done with antique faux cracks, etc, Trust me, it is fabulous. And now Tom is saving an antique Register Clock that fell from the wall. I expect that when I get it back it will perform as new, still look antique....but put back together with loving care. And electrical problems sees easy to accomplish too. Tom is a really good guy and I wish him luck in his new business with himself as CEO. You can trust him, and as long as his vehicle is running, he will always be on the job.
I felt very comfortable with this contractor coming into my home. He provided great advice and honest feedback on my renovation ideas. He was flexable and accommodating to my needs. I will continue to use this contractor for future needs.
I'm so glad that I have all my electrical work done by Mr. Electric. Dennis and his staff have been fabulous: professional and courteous, and they really listen to what the problems are. I have an old house with lots of "issues," and they're doing the work a little at a time so it isn't a budget buster (Dennis's suggestion!). Best of all, the work is done right the first time. Long ago I finally decided to stop trying to cut corners (this is electricity, after all), and I'm so glad I did. I've phoned Margaret and Dennis with plenty of questions during the projects and after the jobs have been done; they've been so responsive, and I've always been made to feel my questions were welcomed. Thank you for doing a great job!
Ron was our primary building contractor for the Small portable classroom ADA ramp with roof and stairs. He also worked with my people on the central office exterior wall improvements for energy savings.
From start to finish my experience with Maine Building Group was incredible! Rick and his crew were so outgoing and friendly. They always accommodated any and all of my last minute requests and change orders with zero setbacks! Will definitely be using Maine Building Group for any future projects. You cannot beat the low pricing for the high end work you will receive. No brainer!
Last year I finally decided to follow through and replace all the windows on the front of my house. One of the reasons I had been putting off this overdue task is that I knew it would end up costing me an arm and a leg. However, I came across Sam of Hire a Hand and he gave me a great price that I couldn't refuse. I was worried that I had compromised quality for the low cost but when the job was complete I was blown away by the amazing craftsmanship. Sam is very professional and seems to carry his talents through the many areas of carpentry. I can confidently say that I recommend Sam for the next job that you need done!
They were very respectful the whole time. Paul went out of his way to make sure everything was exactly the way I wanted it. Their work and attention to detail definetly spoke for itself and it was great because they handled everything so i didnt have to make a thousand phonecalls to different contractors..
