FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My hourly rate is typically $60/hr. For larger projects, I will spend time researching and estimating how long it will take where I will then propose a fixed price for the project.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am constantly reading about new trends in web development and design. I also love to challenge myself with projects that are more and more intensive which forces me to research and learn more. I am always learning.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was building sites for fun! I started building ridiculous sites for practice... like one that was a forum/gallery of videos and photos of cats on leashes - Leashcats.com. After learning the basics, I kept at it until I got good enough to start doing it as a career! I had some help from one of my design professors who took me under her wing and gave me a design internship at infocusdesign.net. She taught me a lot about WordPress, CSS, and HTML.
