I have worked with many people with injuries and chronic illness. I personally have dealt with chronic back pain/sciatica as well as chronic lyme disease so it has become important to me to help people who are suffering similarly. I teach a variety of yoga from Vinyasa flow to yin and restorative. When working with a client I like to learn their background and injury history so that I can tailor a class to their body. In a series I like to start with restorative/yin classes to restore the fascia before moving into any strength building poses. Creating the foundation before building upon it is very important. I enjoy learning about people and how different all of our bodies are. I have been through years of physical therapy which led me to yoga training because the movements however dynamic they may or may not be and learning what heals the body is an amazing gift.

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I don't like to set a price because i would like my service to be accessible to everyone and i understand that it is not always monetarily possible to pay a set price. Generally I charge $50 for an hour long private session. If the travel distance is far I may add a few dollars for gas. I am also willing to do partial trade as well.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I generally correspond via phone or email first to make sure that we are compatible as well as to learn about the client and what their needs are. Once I know what they are looking for I would design a class based on their needs that has many options if some poses cannot be done.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have a 200hr hatha yoga certification as well as a Yin certification and level 1 reiki. I have been practicing yoga for around 10 years.
