We hired Kelly for the wedding planner day of. Kelly really was exceptional the day of our wedding. Took care of the details so that we could enjoy our day with no major disturbances. She did it all from helping decorate to, getting everyone lined up for the ceremony but most importantly she helped to know what is normal for various venders and looked at contracts. Kelly is incredibly sweet and handled some of the difficult parent interactions. She is a true professional. She even stayed to the end and did other work in case we had questions or needed anything. Kelly went the extra mile. I cannot say enough good things about her!! Even our wedding guests and family said, wow your wedding planner is really on top of all the details. Thank you Kelly! Our wedding would not have been nearly as successful without Kelly! From when we first connected for our original planned wedding in 2020 to our actual wedding in 2021, Kelly was there every step of the way to make sure we were on track. In the weeks leading up to the wedding, she helped us figure out timelines, she coordinated with our venue owner and vendors, and overall made us feel as calm as was possible. On rehearsal day, she was fantastic getting to know everyone and scoping out two potential ceremony sites. Day of, I kept asking what I could do to help, but Kelly had it all under control. If something went awry, I didn’t know about it because Kelly made sure everything went smoothly. Our friends and family also commented on how easy she was to talk to and how on top of her game she was. Hopefully I never have to plan a wedding again, but if I did I would 100% want Kelly on my team. We can’t thank her enough for making our day so absolutely amazing.

Absolutely outstanding. Kelly was a life saver. I found her last minute before my wedding and let me just say she exceeded our expectation. She was always ready to answer my questions. She was on top of my vendors. She was supportive when I was stressed out. The night of the rehearsal she took charge and was able to get everything addressed. She arrived early the day of the wedding and was able to set up the ceremony and reception. She was on top of everything that day and made sure the candy bar was stocked and the guests were happy. Kelly....how can I even put into words how much we love her! She helped calm me down in the weeks approaching my wedding, gave me advice on things I wasn’t sure about, and on the day of, she was a SUPERSTAR! She made sure I wasn’t stressed about anything, and could focus on having a good time. She helped with set up, cleanup, and everything in between.   • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    One of the best parts of being an event planner is meeting new people. I'm here to make my client happy, to help ease their mind and to create a beautiful, memorable event. In order to do that, Most of my work is done "behind the scenes" but I think it's important to have an initial consultation (either by phone, coffee shop or home) with my clients. I want to hear about their vision, their hopes and goals for the event, while also understanding their parameters of time, money and space.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

    I grew into this line of 'work'. I have always loved to throw a party, have a theme, get dressed up, to make an 'experience' out of an occasion for my guests. More and more, people would say, "You should do this for a living!". I see each event as a painter probably does when they see a blank canvas. So many ideas! So many possibilities!

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

    My advice would be to hire someone with enthusiasm. Any moment in life can be a reason to celebrate, to have fun and to be creative. You also want someone who will listen to what you want and put those needs first.
