Introduction: With some home inspectors, their only experience is a seminar. It is important to hire someone with construction and inspection experience. I have been a state registered code official for over 15 years and I have real work experience as a city building inspector, carpenter, home improvement contractor, project manager and property manager. Seeing the relief expressed by a customer either when they find out that a problem can be easily corrected or that the house they love is in good condition.

Tony is an honest man who offered me friendly and very knowledgeable guidance on some issues I had at my house. This is the man you want for the job.

I was having problems with water in the corner of my basement after a heavy rain and Tony built up dirt along my basement wall to cause the rain water to drain away from the house. That was a couple of years ago and no water in the basement since.

Mr. Nicholas was exceptional. He worked around our erratic restaurant hours and fit us into his schedule immediately. His work was thorough and concise. We were very pleased with all aspects of the inspection and the detailed report and loved his pricing!! Much lower than any other quotes I got.

FAQs

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I attend approximately 90 continuing credit hours of class time in a 3-year cycle in order to maintain all of my licenses, certifications and registrations. I also regularly study various codes relating to what I do.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Focus on the experience, not the fee. This is a big investment you're making, and saving $50 now could cost you thousands of dollars later.
