Barbara came to our house to help us with our German Shepherd. We rescued our year and a half old GS from a shelter. I'll start this review by explaining what behaviors our dog needed to work on. He would play bite, he wouldn't listen when called, and would tug on his leash NON-STOP when on a walk. He was never aggressive towards us, but he would play bite. Barbara showed us how to get our dog to make eye contact with us, she showed us a variety of training methods to practice with our dog, and she showed us how to be in control when on a walk. We saw major improvements in the dogs attitude towards us within the first session. He no longer play bites, and with all the training methods Barbara showed us our dog is on his way to becoming an extremely well behaved dog. Barbara's session was extremely informative and fun for us and for our dog. We now have a much better understanding of our dog. I highly recommend Barbara to others, she's an expert and knows what shes doing when it comes to dog training and general dog behavior.

Jessica was a miracle worker with our pomsky Miney. She came and picked her up and spent the next 10 days training her. Miney has come home a completely different dog. Jessica is an animal expert like I've never seen before. She has an ability to tap into exactly what the dog and the owner needs to have a successful training experience. When she brought Miney back she gave me an extensive worksheet on everything about my dog and a complete breakdown of everything I need to do to insure that her training continues successfully at home. I'm completely blown away and would highly recommend Jessica to anyone with any dog training or boarding needs. I cannot thank her enough for all of her help with Miney!

I used the immersion training as I had two female dogs, 7 and 3, that had their first fight a year ago, followed by one a few months later, then about six months after that two fights, one severe enough to have two bloody dogs. I knew I needed some serious help, and after talking with their trainers, we chose this option. The change when they got home was very noticeable. It wasn't the idea of correcting the dogs when aggression was shown, but redirecting their heads to acceptable behavior. The added benefit of the dogs heeling nicely, and the other commands taught is good. ,

I don't even have words for how fantastic Clever Canine is. I am so incredibly grateful to them, they've changed everything about the way I communicate with my dogs. I have three big pups, all 3 or younger, and each with A LOT of personality. Mandy, Lizzie, and Emma had my deaf Australian Shepherd (who used to be afraid of people) eating out of their hand within minutes, even letting Emma scratch him on the head. All three are incredibly knowledgeable on obedience training, and my Anatolian Shepherd and Lab are jumping out of the car to see them. Mandy is an expert, and a wealth of knowledge for anyone who wants to learn. She goes out of her way to make scheduling work, takes a sincere interest in getting to know your dogs, and takes the time to create a plan that will work for YOU, no cookie cutter answers. They are even willing to take dogs into their own home for stay and train, then carefully go through all of the new commands and routines your dog has become accustomed to once they're done. I am confident she can solve any problem I'm having, including some dog aggression to others not in the pack. Emma is an Aussie whisperer, I COULD NOT believe he was sitting at her feet and looking her in the eyes within a few minutes of walking in the door. Lizzie is master of agility training, in just one session she had my dog through half of the obstacles. These are professionals, people, with kind hearts and sincere resolve to help you fix whatever problem you may have, for both you and your dog. The service they provide is unparalleled, and I couldn't be happier I went with my instincts on a family-run business instead of a chain. I will be working with them as long as I have any questions (they also do nose work and other sports). I am so, so grateful to have found Clever Canine. They saved my sanity with my dogs and are helping us ENJOY each other's company while constantly learning and advancing. Thank you so much for your time, team. I recommend them to everyone I know.

Patty is awesome! She gave us the tools and knowledge to start raising a happy and healthy pup. What we've learned is that dog training is more about human training. Patty gives you all the tools and then it's up to you and your family to implement these practices into your everyday interaction with your furry friend. Our pup Yoshi is happier! We can really see the difference since Patty came into the picture.

Linda Morin is such a blessing to my whole family. My husband wanted a boxer for our anniversary. I knew nothing about the breed except that they needed to have obedience training. Linda educated not just myself but my whole family on the behavior of the breed along with the proper training that our dog required. Working with her was absolutely wonderful, especially when I could see the progress not just with our boxer Rocky, but also with my kids as they also learned how to properly work the dog. The looks on their faces when they realized they could do it too was wonderful. Linda took the time to make sure we were doing everything correctly and that our boxer Rocky was progressing as well. I loved the personal touch she put into every training class. When she felt like we were ready, she invited us to start working in group classes. Wow what an experience to see her command a group of owners and dogs to process commands. It was quite amazing how she was able to control the whole class, while also giving personal attention to different individuals. She was also able to help us address a few problems we were having with our boxer. For example our boxer Rocky liked to jump on people when they would come to the house. She showed us how to stop that behavior. Linda Morin I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for not only showing us how to properly handle Rocky, but also for educating us on the breed. What you have done for us is priceless. Because of you I will always have a boxer in my life. Thank you so much. Mikki Vinton

We recently hired Anthony to work with our dogs on house training. We were fed up and had tried everything. After a consultation with our dogs he quickly determined that dominance was the main issue and that if we fixed that, the peeing and pooping would go away. It's been 3 days since his visit and the dogs haven't gone to the bathroom in the house yet! We are thrilled with their progress and would definitely recommend Tony to others.

Watching your dog master a command that you'd been working for five months in FIVE MINUTES...priceless.That is when you know you are in the presence of someone's professional.I first brought TJ to Mike at MDT as a rambunctious ill-mannered 10 month 90 lb German Shepherd. After taking a remote manners class, it was nice to be able to take him for walks and have friends over without worrying about someone getting knocked over. We came back to do the day camp to fine tune him and teach him to be more social with other dogs. In one week he has done a 180° turn and actually played with other dogs. I still can't believe the pictures! Meet Mike or Wendy or Kylie (or any of their wonderful trainers) and you will understand why we wouldn't take our big guy anywhere else.
