FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our pricing may be a little more than other contractors; but we’re fully trained, licensed, certified, and insured. We aim for the most satisfaction with our company and your contractor experience in effort to build a great reputation and build a roofing contracting company that is the absolute best that it can be!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We start with getting an understanding of what the customers wants/needs are, and asses the problem with a fine tooth comb. We initially do a drone inspection and get photos of the homes exterior on all sides and an aerial view. We inspect your attic space for any damages to framework and potential ventilation issues, photo documenting everything so we can provide the homeowner with the education and peace of mind they need when selecting a contractor. Then we hop on the roof! We inspect the gutters for excessive granule loss and/or any damages. We check the rave for how many layers of roofing material are there. We check your underlayment to see if leak barrier, starter strip, and drip edge were used and their current condition. Then we check your flashings, chimneys, and roof protrusions for any signs of damage or degradation. Walking the roof, we check the condition of the shingles surface for any signs of hail or wind damage, as well as blistering and granule loss. EVERYTHING IS PHOTO DOCUMENTED FOR YOUR RECORDS. Nothing is more important to us than you knowing full well what is going on with your roof system. Don’t hire just anyone with a ladder, I’ve seen this cost so much more in the long run too many times. Hire the right contractor the first time around.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I’ve had on-site training my entire life. I’ve been fortunate to work with the best in our industry and nationally recognized experts. I have more resources in this industry than most roofers. I’ve worked with every national and state insurance company in Michigan, Georgia, and Indiana. I’m a licensed Michigan builder, able to address any issues beyond your roof that may need attention; streamlining your roof repair project and making sure it is properly done! Many roofing companies are only licensed as roofers, and if they run into these issues, they would just as soon cover it up and get the check than have to bring on another contractor and hood up the project. We’re certified by GAF, Atlas, and Owens Corning roofing divisions. We offer the most extensive workmanship warranty in the industry as well. When you know you do it right every time, you can do that!
