Introduction: I take the time to learn about my clients. My massage background allows me to see things that are happening to the body that others may not be able to see. I work with not only training a client but helping them with nutrition and figuring out ways that allow them to be successful with their health and fitness that follows their busy lifestyle. I like that everyday is a new challenge, a new face, a new experience. I love knowing that I am making a difference in peoples lives. That not only am I touching the life of my client but of the people that love that person. I had two daughters of one of my clients want to come meet me and thank me for helping their mom, and they were 3 and 5 years old. Its amazing what a healthy lifestyle can do.

I signed up for 24 sessions with Kathryn (Katie) and it was the best money I have ever spent on myself. We met 2x a week for 12 weeks. We started with a very basic workout to gage where I was (barely left the couch before) and over the weeks I could feel myself getting stronger and my stamina building. Katie is really great at starting you out at a comfortable level and then pushing you and coaching you to do a little bit more. She has a faith in your abilities that make YOU believe you can do it too and she is usually right. She is not a yeller or a bully but a quiet motivator who; now that my sessions are done and I am doing it on my own, is the voice in my head. The key here is that I am now on my own and she helped me do that. With her training and encouragement I have joined a Crossfit class and remember- 12 weeks earlier I could not walk a mile in 30 minutes and now I am up to running a mile in less than 19. Katie is very patient and makes sure that your form is correct and you learn injury prevention with pre and post-workout stretching and foam rolling. Overall my decision to bring Katie into my life was positive and literally life changing and again, one of the best decisions I have made in a long time.

Katie is an amazing trainer. She introduced me to Crossfit, and I I I I have been going strong at it for 6 months. She is an inspiration to everyone that has had the pleasure of working with her. Katie is a true leader, and takes a holistic approach to training each one of her clients. She does an amazing job of motivating everyone, and vows to tell you what you need to hear and push you to your limits. She always has answers to my fitness and nutrition questions, and really puts emphasis on making sure that safety is the number one priority. I am truly lucky to have Katie coaching me, and credit her for helping me get started on my journey to a healthier life. My only suggestion to Katie would be - Open up your own gym someday, you would be great at it!

I trained with one on one with Katie for 2 months and then continued on with Crossfit. She always seems to know what to say at that moment you need to hear it to help you go that little extra bit. My sessions were consistently something new and different, never routine - which kept things fun and rewarding.

Katie worked with me one-on-one for 3 months and she got me into CrossFit 2 months ago. She helped me understand how to exercise and eat better, and the last 5 months have been life changing. Katie made me realize that I can do anything as long as I take it one day at a time (and one rep at a time). She explained the workout and movements clearly, was very patient when I got frustrated with myself, and encouraged me when I wanted to give up. I was always nervous and embarrassed to go the gym, but now I have the confidence to go on my own, and Katie did that for me.
