We hired Carrie for my son (5) and nephew's (9) birthday party in August, 2014. She was AMAZING! She did a great job of describing her show to the kids as well as involving the kids in her show. There were about 25 kids total, ranging in ages 3-12, and a good mix of excitable little girls and "stinky little boys" - she entertained them all and taught them some valuable lessons about how to treat each other. Example: We thought one friend of the birthday boy was going to be a handful for Carrie (he was loud, trying to be "cool", saying things like "I've seen this trick"..."that looks fake", and basically being a 9 year old boy at first)... but it didn't phase her at all. She ended up making him part of the show and by the end was one of her biggest fans! The best thing was that she made both birthday boys feel equally special. She had little gifts for them at the end and each kid went away with a certificate from Carrie. It was the little touches that made the moment so special. We were a bit apprehensive about hiring a magician we had never met before but Carrie was a true professional. She was incredibly helpful with communication leading up to the event and her set up and performance put us completely at ease. It was nice to have done so much planning and running around the day of to just sit back, relax and be entertained by Carrie. I would ABSOLUTELY recommend Carrie for any child's birthday party. You will be at first surprised....amazed....and then left in admiration.....and isn't that what true entertainers do? :) Your kids will love it...and you will get MORE than you bargained for. GUARANTEED! PS - We had a little trouble with her sound system but we handled it and kept the show going. She wasn't even rattled. She is a true performer and magician. You and your kids will enjoy every minute of the show!

she was a delight to my children and there friends, we hired her for a Halloween party and she was wonderful, very active with the children. My husband even hired her for a little more time to entertain the adults at the party. She was on time and very professional if I decide to have entertainment again she would be my go to!!!!!!! Pricing is based on the amount of time required for performance and the number of people at the event.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to know as many details about the event as possible so I can understand how my magic will fit in and make it the best that it can be. I can customize shows to a theme, use important people as audience helpers, etc. There are many options, but you need to call me to discuss them.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I read trade publications, attend conventions and obtain books and other materials to increase my skills.
