FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
If you’re looking for the lowest bidder, I’m not him. Minimally I’m $50/hr per man. Plus 20% for overhead and profit.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
• I reach out to the client or they reach out to me. • We talk about the general scope of work over the phone and set up a meeting time. • We meet and go over further details. • If I can, I give a general price on the spot. Then I go back to the office and work on a quote. • Email the estimate • Call and set up a time for signing and down payment. • Schedule the job • Start work
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been building since I was 15 years old. I’ve had my general contracting license since I was 21. 26 now. Went through the school of hard knocks. Watched and learned from builders who have built million dollar homes. Saw their successes and failures of operation. My attitude is I will never be done with training. There will always ways to improve my skill.
