Introduction: I’ve been a Michigan Certified Home Inspector for 10 years and I realize how crucial it is to conduct a thorough inspection for my clients. I will determine if the home is SAFE. To determine this, I will be inspecting the homes Foundation, Structure, Roof, Attic, Electrical, Heating, Plumbing, Exterior… absolutely everything I can walk or crawl to. As a Certified Professional Inspector trained by InterNACHI—the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors—I’ve received the best training the industry has to offer from the world’s most reputable association. I will get clear understanding of the property so that my clients are able to make a very confident purchase decision. I am not afraid to share my professional opinion of a home based upon my inspection findings and INTUITION. Attention to every detail carries over in to each home inspection report. My reports are a detailed record of facts and findings from the inspection. Each is also packed with photos, and easy illustrations that help my clients understand how certain conditions can be corrected or improved. The most important aspect of my home inspections is to ensure that the house is a safe before you make it your Home. Home Inspection

Steve, from AAPEX Home Inspection Services recently inspected a home that I have under contract. He did an amazing job of not only checking every aspect of the home, but he communicated his findings with me while at the property. There was evidence of mold on plywood in the attic space, so now we can discuss with our agent how we wish to proceed. I highly recommend Steve and AAPEX Home Inspections.

Home Inspection

Steve did a fantastic job for us! Professional, polite, and full of information. So much more than an inspection, Steve helped educate us in detail about the home we were intending to buy. Your search stops with AAPEX Home.

Home Inspection

As first time home buyer I cannot compare with other inspectors. I found Steve extremely professional. I have been with him during the 2 hours inspections and he has explained every detail. The report has been timely and complete. Very polite with the sellers who where inside the house during the inspection.

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

That my pricing for a home inspection is FAIR. I am not the highest and trend towards the lowest price. I am far less expensive than making a regrettable purchase decision as a result of not having a home inspection or not hiring a "Certified" home inspector. My clients feel that the inspection is well worth the money and it saves them far in the home transaction than the cost of the inspection. There is absolutely nothing better than piece of mind and making a very confident purchase decision.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

To introduce myself at the site and get to now my client and how their intent for the home. Many clients are intending to buy as their primary residence, others for investment/income. this will establish a baseline for how I communicate. I always invite my clients to Shadow or check in w me from time to time during the inspection. I don't like inspecting all alone if I can help it. when a client is by my side or near we have a discussion. I like to share how to maintain the home and deferred repairs expenses. I believe it's equally important to talk about how well the home appears to have been maintained by the current owner. I make sure that before I leave the client that all questions are answered and everything discovered during the inspection is clearly explained to my clients satisfaction no matter how long it takes I set no time limits. Once I leave I begin work on the full detail report that is typically provided to my clients the next day.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have a bachelors degree from Arizona State University and in the recent past achieved my MBA. My training is from building homes and continuous education in this field. I have a strong desire to help every client fully understand all the details and operations of their home.
