FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
the price you pay for your training is largely based on the goals you have for your pet. You will spend more on private training compared to group lessons, however you receive an individualized training plan for your specific goals. Some behaviors can only be worked on in private lessons so if you are unsure where to start we suggest beginning with an Initial Consultation.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We generally like to begin with an Initial Consultation to get to know the dogs case history and have a better understanding of the home life and the behaviors in question. If you have a young puppy (5 months or less in age), then generally starting with a group class is just fine unless you'd prefer private lessons or are seeing behavior issues. Most of our students who do group lessons bundle private lessons on top so they can receive the best of both worlds.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
The owner and head trainer is CPDT-KA (Certified Professional Dog Trainer - Knowledge Assessed) through the CCPDT, an international organization that sets the standard for modern dog trainers. All of our trainers are either certified or working towards their certification as we feel it is important our students are put into trusted and educated hands.
