Introduction: In 2015, I had the amazing opportunity to work backstage at a couture fashion/style show during New York Fashion Week AND Paris Fashion Week. I applied makeup to several fashion models at each show for the runway in both New York and Paris. I will be styling hair for yet another New York Fashion Week runway show, February 2016. I have extensive experience in both hairstyling and makeup application. I have been a hairstylist and makeup artist for many years, with an emphasis on the creative aspects of makeup and special occasion hairstyles. I absolutely love special occasion makeup and hair for the simple fact that it is highly creative and my lovely client feels exquisite on her special day, whatever it may be.

I have been going to Lisa for many years for hair, coloring, makeup, and I use her for all my big events. She is just simply amazing. I have never been disappointed at any of her work. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Always a conversation about the wishes and expectations of the client. How many clients, requirement for each, cost per person, my experience and policies, scheduling on the event day and possible practice time are all topics among others during the initial consult. This ensures complete and accurate information for all parties involved.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Besides a Cosmetology license-I have had many classes and seminars, attended shows and demonstrations (including hands on) in my long career..now I also have backstage runway experience from New York and Paris. Aside from Cosmetology, I have had education in Fine Art and Photography.
