I recently started taking guitar lessons with Josh and it's been a great experience. He is flexible with both your learning style and schedule. In the past I have had difficulty finding a good teacher, but I would recommend Josh to anyone, and he's inspired me to start piano as well. Thanks!

Extremely talented professionals are instructors here - Tom Starr well known throughout the Midwest as a fine percussionist, as well as quality instructors in strings, piano, guitar and horns.. This store treats their professionals with dignity and compensates them accordingly so students get the best quality music education. The owner, Brian, is a performing professional, as well, with a quality education and background in performance. Finally.......a quality teaching facility

I recently signed up for guitar lessons with Robert Gallagher. My goal is to read music and to play my favorite songs. After 3 weeks, I have already learned one of them! He is very encouraging, passionate, and cares about his students. I highly recommend Robert to anyone looking for guitar lessons. He is a wonderful teacher and a great guitarist. Hands down, the best guitar instructor in Michigan. Worth every penny!

I started taking guitar lessons with John and have been extremely satisfied with his services thus far. He teaches in such a way that is allowing me to quickly progress. Only comments for 4 stars is that the studio is currently based out of his house and could be a little cleaner, and for my first lesson he greeted me at the door with bare feet... just made for a slightly odd first impression. I am very impressed with his services and continue to go to him for lessons... he wears slippers or shoes now...

I've had a wonderful experience starting my guitar journey with Joe this past year and wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone interested in learning to play the guitar. He not only teaches the practical aspects of guitar playing but also focuses on music theory, with the intent of making you a well-rounded musician. Joe is also willing to tie the lessons in with your own musical tastes by letting you work on songs of your own choosing, which makes practicing fun and engaging. Joe's love of guitar shines through in every lesson and his cheerful demeanor and encouraging words will make you love it too!

John was very helpful in teaching me the proper technique and foundation's of playing guitar. He broke down the basics and instructed on how I could practice on my own and improve my technique. I would be happy to recommend John to anyone interested in learning a musical instrument.

Our daughter loves the guitar again thanks to Alexander! He has a great teaching style. We used to push her to practice before, but now she picks up the guitar on her own and can't wait for her next lesson because of her instructor. Glad we found him!

I'm glad I chose Tyler Aukerman for my guitar teacher. He is a clear teacher, very knowledgeable about guitar and music theory, attentive to his students needs, while also organized and timely. I had another teacher in the past but he had no professional training and as a result was a very poor teacher. I've never had this issue with Tyler. I'd recommend him to anyone parent looking for a teacher for their kid or adult looking to take lessons.

My 12-year-old daughter had been wanting a guitar for a while, so I got her one for her birthday. After a couple days of watching online videos about how to play, she seemed to lose interest. I guess it was too complicated, or boring, for her. I decided to try to find her a teacher, which is how Brian became my daughter’s guitar teacher. This has turned out to be the best decision. Brian’s teaching techniques are excellent. He knew right away how to keep my daughter interested in playing, without her getting bored. From the very beginning he started teaching her to play her favorite song. That made a big difference in my daughter’s motivation to practice. To my great surprise, she started to practice on her own at least one hour every day. Brian integrates guitar playing techniques (which can get boring) with playing songs, both at the same time. I think this is an excellent approach, especially for kids. My daughter now looks forward to every lesson. Communication with Brian is wonderful: he is never late, and if something does come up, he always notifies me well in advance. Lessons normally last 30 minutes, but if Brian sees that my daughter needs a little more time, he always stays longer to make sure that she understood everything in the lesson for that day. About

Firstly, I am incredibly good at sight reading - it is a stereotype that guitarist are poor readers of music! I am also deeply interested and knowledgeable in many kinds of music. I like exploring the connections between genres - like jazz, rock, and classical - in my playing and in my compositions. I offer that openness to all my students, and often burn CDs for them to expose them to new kinds of music.
