- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
This would depend on frequency of visits and exactly what is asked of me.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
This is all pretty new to me on the Thumbtack, but I've mostly dog sat while house sitting. Like I said, I can no longer house sit, as I have animals of my own to look after. Although I have a 16 year old cat, he is pretty independent, however, I can handle a cat as well.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have had 2 or 3 dogs in my life since I was a child. I currently have 2 dogs and one cat. One of my dogs is a rescue dog and he is like my child! I just have patience and love towards animals. I understand their anxiety when their owners are gone and the separation anxiety they experience. As I wouldn't want anyone that I entrusted to come into my home, to just come in and throw some food at my dog. I know the need to spend time with the animal also, if the dog is a sociable animal and is willing.
