The thing I like most about being in the Information Technology field is the ability to genuinely help people with everyday problems they experience while trying to do their job or simply function in their lives. Knowing I helped remove a pitfall in their life or was able to offer guidance in an area they didn't have previous experience in is greatly rewarding for me.
