"Janelle is an absolute essential for a bride on her wedding day! Once you've found the person that you want to spend the rest of your life with, I highly recommend booking Janelle to make sure that your wedding day goes smoothly. We used Janelle as our day of coordinator and she was with me every step of the way, no task to big or small. When things beyond our control went wrong, which they inevitably will on everyone's wedding day, Janelle took care of them so we didn't find out about them until brunch the next day! Janelle was like a mobile command center throughout the day. She was there when I needed her front and center, and out of sight working diligently in the background when I didnt' need something. It was a fantastic calming presence to have while still having all of the space that I needed on my wedding day. Janelle kept an invaluable day-of schedule which made things go so much easier throughout the day. She coordinated with our vendors to ensure that they were where they needed to be, when they needed to be there. If that wasn't a challenge enough, she kept our large and rowdy wedding party entirely on point! At points throughout the day it was like herding cats, yet she was able to calmly and assertively move all of our wedding party and family where they needed to be. Then there were all of the little day of 'hiccups' that could have seemed like emergencies at the time if it weren't for Janelle's box of tricks. My dress ripped...twice...Janelle had everything I needed. Heading out the door for pictures and my bracelet breaks, somehow it was repaired within 3 minutes and my jewelry was saved. I ate after pictures and before the ceremony, Janelle was there waiting with floss to make sure I was ready to go. We had a few bumps with our florist and no-one to move a huge floral arch when Janelle coordinated all of the men in our wedding party to get it moved and in place, without us every knowing! My slip and dress wasn't quite going on right and Janelle provided great instructions to help everyone get me into it...what a process! She bustled me at the reception as well, thank goodness. There are a ton of little things that were a huge timesaver and relief all day, keeping me calm when I pretty routinely got worried about something. She kept me cool, calm, and collected...well at least as much as I could have possibly been! I had an amazing wedding day and couldn't have been happier. A large amount of planning went into the day, and I was able to sit back and enjoy it even more knowing that I wasn't going to be bothered by any issues or details. I was able to fully relax and enjoy the day more than I would have if I had tried to be in charge of every little detail on the day of. Janelle is well worth the investment and is like an insurance policy for your stress level on your wedding day. She's got you covered and you can have 100% confidence that everything will be taken care of. There's no putting a price on the ability to relax and let someone else sweat all of the big and small issues that will inevitably pop up on your wedding day. I can't recommend Janelle enough!
"I hired MonumentalHeights.com for support services and the coordination of my wedding and events surrounding the big day (such as bridal shower, engagement party and etc.). My coordinator Trisha was very professional and detailed. In the contract proposal, she provided a list of services that would be included, which assisted me in choosing the appropriate services and vendors. She always went the extra mile, made herself available, made suggestions when asked, and handled every situation with ease, skill and class. Christi and her staff went above and beyond to help pull everything together for our wedding. She is so thoughtful and has an answer for everything and always willing to help. She defiantly went the extra mile and made sure our day went perfect! I'll be recommending her to anyone I know in need of a day of coordinator. She made sure to keep the stress away and the timeline she made was great, followed it to a T and made sure we were where we needed to be and when! I couldn't be more greatful for the word she did!

Okay so, let's throw this out there, Heather Todero is my sister-in-law. And it is a bit suspicious I gave her all 5/5 stars. Now that we have all the reasons you might disregard this one review, let me tell you all the reasons you should memorize the "Heather Todero Events" name, and tell your friends while she is able to fit you in during the 2013-2014 wedding season. Heather has a driven, professional personality that leads the wedding day activities with guidance and direction, but she connects with her clients in a warm way that allows her to share in their wants and needs. Listening was big for me. She truly wants to see, grasp, and understand your vision, so she can in turn produce a budget-friendly beautiful rendition. She may be able to help design at times, but her specialty lies within her ability to find creative solutions for anything you've dreamed of doing. It's amazing. Heather saved the day by being especially organized as well. She has time tables and agendas, and she gets to know them backwards and forwards. She internalizes your vision so you can go about your day peacefully while she takes care of anything out of order. She gets to know you and your dreams well enough so that she can talk to vendors and coordinate the timing and activities of every party involved in the event, all without you even knowing. She does whatever it takes to make things go smoothly, and not your mother-in-law's version of smooth, or your crazy aunt's version of smooth, but your version. (Yeah, take a sigh of relief). After my wedding I found out my caterers set the tables to the banquet room up all wrong, all the vases had flowers but no water (granted they were plastic, but I wanted them to look real, okay?), and the ushers hadn't ushered anyone anywhere. But from my perspective the day was flawless, joyful and smooth. No one noticed the mistakes. She makes the planning easy, your day easy, but she also makes the hit to your wallet easier too. You're welcome;)
The most important decision my husband and I made for our wedding was hiring Adell from Everlasting Engagements as our wedding planner Adell an her team handled EVERYTHING for me and myself and my family were 100% stress free on my big day! When the planning began I was worried about only having 10 weeks to plan but Adell stepped right in and took care of everything I needed. She was very easy to get a hold of for questions and was so helpful along the way. Adell is very knowledgeable in the wedding industry and has a very impressive background working with budgets. I was extremely impressed with our very detailed timeline for our wedding day. Everyone knew where to be, what time and the entire day couldn't have gone more smoother. I could never have planned this wedding so perfectly without Adell's assistance and I'm so glad I chose Everlasting Engagements!
House of Pearls did the day of coordination for my husband and I for our wedding. I was so pleased with how smoothly things went. If anything was off course I had no knowledge of it. It was such a relief to know that I didn't have to be worried about things going as planned. I was able to simply enjoy my wedding day. I'm so glad I went with hiring a wedding coordinator as opposed to using a relative, the extra cash spent was well worth the peace of mind I had. When planning our wedding at The Redford Theatre, we were looking for a local catering company to help us out. Joe's Produce is within walking distance of us. We scheduled an appointment and spoke to Laura who reviewed all of our options. We liked the variety of options that they had for food as well as being able to choose our options for beer, cider, and wine. I will say that Laura probably needs an assistant because she is a very busy person, but the day of the event she handled everything very well. Our guests very much enjoyed the event. Additionally, she saved us some appetizers, to make sure we had some food to eat as we were very busy at our strolling reception. I would recommend Joe's for any occasion as they also helped with some high top tables that we used at the receptions too.
I was the worst kind of bride, I tried to do everything myself and didn't have much time to plan. Ashley literally saved my wedding day. A lot fell on her shoulders and she really rolled with the punches. Couldn't have done it without her!
