Mr. Trogu and his associate did a very impressive job. I needed an electrical outlet installed, A/V cables hidden in the wall, and a large (65") tv mounted. This was an exterior wall, over a fireplace. I have some knowledge on how to do this, but with the type of wall and fireplace felt there were too many obstacles for me to overcome. As expected, there were many obstacles. Yet Mr. Trogu was diligent and managed to complete the task without turning my wall into swiss cheese. They maintained good communication throughout the process (scheduling, arrival time, planned. Purse of action). They also made sure to handle all of my products with care, as well as being courteous guests. I felt Mr. Trogu was very reasonably priced. I would highly recommend him to anyone.
We had the pleasure of working with Mike Walrath on a project to build a wall to enclose an area for our mother. He answered our call promptly, gave an accurate estimate and completed the work in a timely manner. He is an excellent craftsman, was always on time and very sensitive to our mother's needs. We highly recommend Mike and would hire him again without question.
Great Work! Installed a new ceiling fan, works perfectly.
We were quite pleased with Handyman Tom when he recently completed our wall paper removal project, He was prompt, polite, efficient, and professional. Would highly recommend him.
Painted basement ceiling and interior wall. Both came out great, would do business with again.
I don’t think there are enough good things I can say about Jim and Joe. Their workmanship is meticulous, they’re punctual, knowledgeable, professional, and all-round great guys to deal with. In fact, if I could have given them six stars, I would have. I initially hired Jim and Joe to install some recessed lights in my home. I say “some”, when the reality was something in the order of 30 recessed light cans! Couple this with having to run additional power lines and several new switches (both two and three-way) and this install was a daunting task for even the most seasoned professional. But Jim and Joe were more than up for the task. Being a designer, I was very particular as to the placement of each recessed light. I made sure to mark exactly where I wanted each light to be installed (irrespective of the placement of any ceiling joists or wall studs). Not only was the workmanship impeccable, Jim and Joe installed each light exactly where I wanted it, and completed the work in what must be an absolute world record. They didn’t even flinch when at the last minute I asked them to install a new ceiling box and power line for a 120v smoke/carbon monoxide detector in my hallway. Jim and Joe’s workload quickly expanded from the recessed lighting install to the installation of all new interior doors (including several double-hung closet doors) - a total of 11 new interior doors. And as with any remodel, this job wasn’t without “extra work”, requiring building up several wall sections, and just as they had demonstrated with the recessed lighting installation, Jim and Joe’s door install was above reproach. I am so impressed with Jim and Joe with respect to both their workmanship and as individuals, that I have already booked them to perform even more work at my home early in the coming new year.
Matthew did an excellent job mounting the TV above our fireplace. It looks perfect. All the cords are concealed in the wall and he restored the wall so that it looked exactly as it did before. I would highly recommend him for TV mounting and we will definitely be hiring him again for other work.
He assembled a large storage cabinet and attached it to the wall. He did a great job! I would hire him again.
I was provided with an outstanding demolition and slight renovation Job in our office basement. Blue Skies Cleaning came with good sized crew young and old and they got the job done quick. They ripped all the old wood paneling down and took up the old nasty floor. Then they even able to throw up new dry wall and ceiling tile for me . Very thankful for their services I will be using them again!
Tim did a great job. He painted both interior and exterior. In some places this meant three stories up. His work was meticulous. He was very dependable and trustworthy. He communicated with me on details. Kept me informed and always showed up as scheduled. I will definitely turn to him for future work.
When I first posted my job here on Thumbtack I had three separate jobs; junk removal, painting/drywall repairs (AWESOME JOB), household repairs - including putting up a door which we've done before and would not do again - this guy made it look easy! I was immediately contacted by Fusion about completing all three. Not only was the approx. price in the same range as the formal quote, but the work was outstanding, and done within my schedule. He's also a great guy to work with and I felt comfortable with him and his crew. Will do business with him again and highly recommend. Could not have had a better experience and was easier than having three separate companies do the job. Thanks Rogers!!
Alex did an excellent job repairing my walls and ceiling. He is professional, friendly and I highly recommend him.
Removal old and install new hot water heater tank.
RJ painted my entire interior of a home and exterior doors and did an absolutely beautiful job. Very courteous, respectful, professional and honest team. The price was very fair also. I would highly recommend them. I am very particular and this company is willing to accomodate the customer. They also connected me with floor refinishers who did a beautiful job.
What a guy....He came, he loaded and indicated the price. I was shocked!! Thought it would be much more. We had a garage full of bulky carpeting and padding and he removed it in record breaking time. He even took some black garbage bags even though I told him he didn't have to. His response was that he wanted to save us from disposing of them. If we or anyone we know needs his type of service, he will absolutely get the call.
We wanted to remove a window on our living area wall to provide a space for our 60" TV. Nathan removed the window and finished it in a professional manner. He finished it inside so it was ready for paint and on the outside so it is ready for plastering. Nathan was on time, easy to work with and very honest with his quote. He went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with the end result. We were very happy. Thank you Nathan. Job well done. We will be calling again for future jobs we need done around the house.
Darrell has done many projects in my home. Initially, I hired him for a kitchen remodel, in 2010. Since then he has done a bathroom, flooring, both laminate and ceramic, electrical, plumbing, door installations, both exterior and interior and fencing around my pool. In addition, I have had Darrel work on two investment properties that I am a part owner of. In those homes, he has repaired and installed hardwood flooring, removed walls, moved electrical, fixed heating and cooling systems and roof repairs. What I feel is most important with his work is that he is trustworthy and honest. I am, by nature, cautious about individuals working in my home, but I have no reservations having Darrell come into my home and work, when I am not home. I have referred him to many friends and they have not been disappointed. Overall, I have not found anything that Darrell can not handle. I have been happy with all of the work he has done.
I found Mr. Labra online quite a few years ago while searching for someone to build a bookcase / wall unit. I reviewed his website and was extremely impressed with the creativity of his designs. Back then, I was just in the idea stage and Mr. Labra was very helpful (even though some of my ideas were out there) and not pushy at all. Due to my inability to decide on what I really wanted, I essentially ignored the project for quite some time. Cut to a few years down the road, I finally made up my mind. I emailed Mr. Labra once again. Right off the bat, he was a consummate professional. He quickly gave me an estimate for my "plans" which was on par with other contractors. What set him apart from the other guys was how he made me a part of the process. Other contractors I contacted listened to my plans and gave me a quote. He worked with me every step of the way (i.e. he listed the different types of wood that he could use, the pros and cons of each and why he felt one was the best fit for me) to give me the best outcome. He also voiced his own opinion when he felt it was warranted. When some of my ideas went against what he felt create a quality product, he let me know how he could tweak things to get it back on track. But, at the same time, he let me know that it was my decision and didn't force me to follow his path. It did take a while for it to get done. But, once the bookshelf was completed, it was impeccable. You can see the pride he takes in his craftsmanship (while installing the piece, he spent ten minutes fidgeting with a door to make sure it was not a millimeter out of place). There are so many little details I could go into that I've noticed on the unit that make it stand out. Needless to say, I am beyond impressed with Mr. Labra's skills (both in design and build) and character. I would recommend him wholeheartedly.
Mr Wright was extremely knowledgeable and professional when doing work in my home. He transformed my home from ordinary to extraordinary. Mr Wright sanded and polyurethaned my hard wood floors, painted the majority of my interior walls and assembled all new furnishings in my home. I look forward to working with Mr Wright in the future and would highly recommend him for any job👍.
A couple of things came to my home for a whole house interior painting assignment. The employees came in ready to get started and completed the task in a professional upscale manner. I was more that satisfied with the companies performance. I got an estimate that they would have the job completed with in four days and they did produce in a neat and timely manner. I was impressed with the quality of services provided by A couple of things. The owner Kelly Jacobs made sure that the employees completed the job on time and stayed with in my budget. I would recommend their services to anyone that is in need of a company that is professional, prompt and affordable. I will continue using A couple of things for all of my needs in getting my property in tip top shape.
