Introduction: I believe many professionals vary in their styles of work. For me, I am focused and never initiate a conversation while working, just to give the client room for relaxation. I am able to access the issues that the client may be facing through intuition and observation. At times, if there is an issue that is difficult to fix through massage & energy work, I use a form of active client/ therapist reciprocative movements. This always gives excellent results! When I am finished with a session, I love seeing how my clients have improved, whether that's pain relief, improved range of motion, or just pure relaxation, allowing the stress to dissolve.

Everything about the experience was outstanding. Colette is wonderful about communication. She absolutely knows what she is doing. My husband said it was the best massage out of a thousand that he has had. I thank her for traveling to us and sharing her kind personality and vast knowledge. She has a gift.

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

If the person travels to my location, I charge sliding scale: for one hour: $40-$70; 90 minutes: $70-$120; half hour: $25-$40. If I travel to the person, then I charge a base of $55 per hour plus $10 for every 10 miles I travel.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I always ask the new client what their main concerns are, make sure they are comfortable, what they prefer in massage/energy work, and explain to them to lay face up or down based on what their concerns are.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have a certificate in Myomassology (massage therapy that incorporates many different modalities of massage) from Irene's Myomassology Institute. I also have a master/ teacher certificate in Usui Reiki. I have education in Thai Yoga Massage, Introduction to Cranial Sacral Therapy, and Polarity.
