It has been great having Kallie as my yoga instructor. She is highly knowledgeable, experienced, and will customize your sessions. Not to mention, she is very friendly and personable as well.
One of the best yoga and dance instructors I've ever had.
Ema is one of the most knowledgeable teachers of Yoga around. One aspect of Yoga that Ema knows well is the contraindications for each Yoga technique. There real (and sometimes serious) contraindications for each and every Yoga technique, and many Yoga teachers are not trained in them. Ema is one of the few teachers able to safely teach advanced Yoga techniques.
My friend and I have semi private lessons because my friend has Parkinson's and moves slower,is not comfortable in a regular big class. Natasha works with both of us together but still addresses our individual issues.. She is very positive in all aspects,a joy to have as an instructor. We now have class twice a week.
I started working with Connie almost seven years ago. As a result of working out with her, I was able to fit into my MOTB dress. I have also been cared at a store because they didn't think I looked 55 years old or older! TRX, nutrition guidance, Yoga, and keeping track of progress are just a part of everything Connie does. Her personality is great no matter your age. I highly recommend her!
Having Lynne as my yoga instructor has expanded my yoga practice and experience. For sixteen weeks every Tuesday evening I benefited from her mindful and focused instruction. She helped bring me to a more advanced place on my yoga mat. Thank you Lynne!
I had Emily as a teacher for a private, one hour long yoga class with me and a friend. She was a calm, informative, and understanding and welcoming teacher. She gave us both individual attention and tips for our specific needs and bodies. Emily also helped teach me more about alignment, which was super helpful since I am still new-ish to yoga.
She is a great instructor I will continue to use her for my yoga instructor.
I had a great experience with Antonette's private yoga sessions. She was very knowledgeable with her yoga background and training. Antonette was able to tailor the sessions to our small group (our family did yoga with her). She provided great hands-on adjustments and modified the poses for each individual in our group. From what I understand her prenatal yoga is wonderful (although we did vinyasa flow and power yoga with her!). She was very professional and responded quickly when needed. I would definitely recommend using her for yoga instruction.
Great instructor. Very skilled and patient. Highly recommended.
I've had the privilege of participating in Jackie's Baptiste Power yoga classes and the added benefit of a private session. If you haven't been to one of her classes you don't know what you are missing! They are some of the most intimate, fun and inspiring classes I have been to. Jackie is an amazing, genuine human being. It is impossible not to like her. She has a wealth of knowledge about yoga and the benefits and variations of each pose. She tailors each class to her students' needs and interests and ensures that every individual is safely working their "edge". Her adjustments allowed me to access postures more fully and truly deepen my practice. She is also a great motivator-- her belief (and encouragement) in your ability to push past your perceived limits is so powerful you will be amazed at what you can accomplish under her guidance. I always leave the class feeling so much more energetic, with a renewed sense of connection to my body. In addition to her gift of yoga, I have also on more than one occasion used her healthy (and yummy) recipes and eating tips! What an unbelievable gift she is sharing with the community!
Caryn Gallagher is an excellent yoga instructor. She is able to offer a diverse, interesting, challenging yet comfortable yoga class for students from beginning to advanced level. I have taken yoga from instructors in far away locations such as Abu Dhabi and throughout the U.S., and she remains consistently outstanding in comparison to others. The most fascinating aspect of her classes is that the class is never repetitive; she just has such an experienced instructor background that she is able to bring to her classes to keep them interesting and fulfilling. I would highly recommend her! Bonnie McNeill, Naples, Florida
Emili is a very kind and caring person, she is knowledgable and passionate about what she does and it really shows thru her work. I have been seeing Emili for private yoga sessions for over 6 months now and I couldn't be any happier with the results. I suffer from a disability that effects my balance, muscle strength and muscle tone. Emili takes my needs into consideration and customizes the sessions to best benefit me. I have noticed a considerable increase in flexibility and balance. Thanks Emili!
Darcy is an inspiring and mindful yoga teacher. I have taken a few of her classes at Red Yoga in Ann Arbor and each time I feel so great afterward. She helped me learn to stretch my back properly and work out excess tension. I highly recommend her as an instructor!
I am available for large group, small group or private lessons. I am RYT certified, and I have been teaching 10-15 classes for the past year. I have taught all over Metro Detroit including Grosse Pointe, Detroit, St. Clair Shores, Ferndale, Farmington Hills and Clinton Township. I typically teach 60-minute classes, but I am open to 75- and 90-minute classes if clients are interested. What separates me from other teachers is my strong attention to detail such as posture, limitations, variations on poses, dealing with injuries and having a clear idea of what the client's ultimate goal is. I teach every class with a theme and close each class with savasana, where I sing and play the guitar while the students allow their bodies to take in the benefits of the work they just put in.
Yoga has many layers. Let's peel back the layers of stiffness and soreness and replace them with flexibility and strength. Let's learn what our bodies are trying to tell us. Let's share the light! Namaste
I treat each client with dignity and respect.

Namaste! I am a certified yoga teacher offering private and group instruction in asana (yogic postures), pranayama (yogic breathing), meditation and yogic theory. My delight is teaching asana classes that link breathing, movement and mindfulness together to create a dance of healing and self-awareness. I teach a variety of class styles including ashtanga, vinyasa, yin, restorative and beginning/all levels. Each class will focus on breathing to reveal the true essence of yoga -- union with self.
Michigander Kayleigh Zupi completed her 200 hour RYT Teacher Training in February of 2014 under the supervision of Kimberly Jacks at Yogacentric studio in Saline, MI. Across several months, Kayleigh was immersed in the world of yoga, learning the short-form ashtanga series, vinyasa, slow flow and yin yoga; as well as deepening her spiritual practice with meditation and living a karmic lifestyle. Kayleigh is truly grateful for the opportunity she grabbed to learn and grow, which has helped her listen to her body, mind and soul so she can, in turn, help others with theirs! Kayleigh came to know yoga from library DVD's and Rec Center classes, but the flame was fanned when she first took a class at the Center for Yoga with Kelli Harrington. Feeling such a zest for life, Kayleigh kept up with her practice until she found out she was pregnant. After suffering a miscarriage a few months later, Kayleigh returned to the mat hoping to find solace with more restorative classes -- intending to take care of her soul. Not surprisingly, yoga helped slowly heal her wounds, causing endorphins to soar and her body to change!

Therapeutic Yoga Because of my own experience through healing of advanced cancer with yoga, anything is possible when the mind and body are connected. We will use the stilling of the mind through the union of breath and awareness to promote deep physical healing, which can lead to emotional, mental, and spiritual healing.Yoga therapy is for people who have experienced trauma, including cancer, eating disorders, scoliosisÃÂø herniated disks, and rotator-cuff rehabilitation. Restorative Yoga Creating a grounded and nurturing environment, we will use bolsters, blankets, and blocks to support long held poses and make space for students to rest. Restorative yoga quiets the sympathetic nervous system and stimulates the para-sympathetic nervous system. This allows for true healing, including an improvement in sleep, digestion, focus, and general well-being. Ideal for people who need space and time to let everything go and relax. Prenatal Yoga Prepare for birth by building strength and flexibility to ensure an easier labor and postpartum recovery. This will be both a challenging and relaxing class, intended to empower and inspire. Prenatal yoga can be as active or as restful as you and your baby need.
