As a beginner I walked out of my class knowledgeable and comfortable to further my craft solo. My instructor was personable, professional, patient and flexible. She welcomed questions, offered advice and even traveled with me to pick out fabrics. The only advice I would give is on the first day do a more in depth tutorial of the workings of the sewing machine. Practice using the machine was a great way to start the class, but maybe start with threading the bobbin and machine, explaining and showing what each knob is used for. For beginners even if you have instructions it can be a bit confusing and unfamiliar. All in all I feel I absolutely made a great investment and I would recommend Ms. Lisa owner of LBC Design to anyone interested in learning to sew.
