FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I prefer to do flat-rate pricing! However, it may change depending on the job and there may be a flat rate to cover certain things (gas, time spent photographing, time taken to edit photos, etc.) and then charge a certain rate/deal for the batch amount of Photo proofs that you're aiming to receive from the event. There will be a lot of back and forth communication with a list of photos for you to look through, to check and see which you are comfortable with to select for your package of photo proofing.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I intend to go back to college at a later point for a degree in photography, but beyond that, I stay on track with my photography by reading anything photography related and researching from other established and skilled photographers.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've played around with cameras since I was around the fine age of 5. From Kodak cameras on up, I've loved taking pictures of things and getting that "picture is worth a million words" shot. From there, I decided to finally take it to the next step and begin professionally with a DSLR camera and went from there. My background in creative fields have ranged from some college in Game Art to Photography, so I've learned plenty and intend to continue to learn plenty more!
