- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Every pets schedule is different, we offer many different packages to meet each pets lifestyle. Our Weekly packages are a flat rate and are best suited for people who need consistent services Monday through Friday. Our A' La Carte services are for pets who have varying schedules each week. Weekly Potty Break: $50 per week. Mon-Fri with a guaranteed 2 hour window. Your pet will have time outside to play, take care of business and get love and attention. Each additional dog in the household is $30 per week. Weekly Pack Walks: $75 per week Mon-Fri with a guaranteed 2 hour window. Your pet will have a 30 minute walk with his pals. Pets in pack walks must be spayed or neutered. Each additional dog in the household is $45 per week. Weekly Private Walks: $90 per week Mon-Fri with a guaranteed 2 hour window. Your pet will have a 30 minute walk, full of individual attention. A great opportunity for reinforcing training. Each additional dog in the household is $55 per week. Once a week is scheduled there are no refunds for canceled walks and/or potty breaks during each weekly period. Rates are for our local service area only, (for services outside our local area there is an additional $15 charge per week). A' La Carte Potty Break: $12 per potty break. A potty break can be scheduled any day of the week with a guaranteed 2 hour window. Your pet will have time outside to play, take care of business and get love and attention. Each additional dog in the household is $8 per potty break. A' La Carte Pack Walk: $17 per walk. A pack walk can be scheduled on any day of the week with a guaranteed 2 hour window. Your pet will have a 30 minute walk with his pals. Pets in pack walks must be spayed or neutered. Each additional dog in the household is $10 per walk. A' La Carte Private Walk: $20 per walk. A private walk can be scheduled any day of the week with a guaranteed 2 hour window. Your pet will have a 30 minute walk, full of individual attention. A great opportunity for reinforcing training. Each additional dog in the household is $12 per walk If your pet has a change in their schedule and needs to cancel or reschedule an A' La Carte service, notice to your walker must be given by 5pm the day prior to the scheduled service or the full rate will still be charged. Rates are for our local service area only, (for services outside our local area there is an additional $3 charge per service).
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We are constantly learning from our own dogs, our foster dogs, our sparky dogs, attending dog seminars, working along side dog behaviorists and trainers. No 2 dogs are alike, so we are always open minded to learning what each dog needs.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Run Sparky Run was started to for three main reasons: 1. We LOVE dogs, we are passionate about working with dogs and providing services that exceed expectations. 2. Many dogs are turned given up or taken to shelters because of destructive behavior. Run Sparky Run hopes to be able to keep dogs in their homes, by providing services that give dogs and their owners the answer to many bad behaviors. Our walks are not your normal run of the mill dog walks, we do not simply walk your pup. Our walkers work on reinforcing basic obedience, utilize proper leash walking to stop pulling, exercise and mental stimulus through games that keep your dog from being bored, and of course lots of love! 3. In looking for a dog walker for my own dogs, I realized that many of the walkers in the area did not have a good understanding of dog behavior nor did they offer services that worked in unison with the training my dogs already had. Thus RSR was born!
